Las Vegas Condo - Tips.

Tip 1:

Questions for the Builder

Before deciding to purchase a property, you may want to know more about the builder's reputation. Many times there are small items which need to be fixed after initial construction and you have to make sure they are willing to follow through with what they initially promised.

Following are 5 important questions you may consider asking:

  • How much experience does the builder have with the type of building you want to move into?
  • What is the current state of construction, and how quickly will the project be completed?
  • Will I be covered under the new home warranty program?
  • How many resident and visitor parking spaces are available? Can I purchase extra parking spaces?
  • What extra storage options are available to me?

Las Vegas Condo Tip 2:

Selecting Best Location

One of the main benefits about a Las Vegas condo is that most condos in Las Vegas are located close to the center of town. Here is a list of what we feel are some of the most convenient places to look for a condo in Las Vegas.

  • Downtown - "Old Las Vegas", the first part of Las Vegas to be developed, and currently undergoing redevelopment. Hotels and casinos include Fremont Street Experience, Horseshoe, El Cortez, Fitzgerald’s, Four Queens and the Golden Gate.
  • South Strip - Any on Las Vegas Blvd. South of Tropicana (Mandalay Bay). It’s still with a Strip address, next to but not in the hub of activity. The South Strip has been called the “New Vegas” and is an area of booming development. Many new casinos, shopping meccas and restaurants are coming to this area including Town Square, M Resort and a hefty expansion to the Silverton.
  • Others - This includes areas in Henderson, North Las Vegas and areas east and west of the Strip. Hotels, casinos and shopping in these outlying areas include The District, Station Casinos, Sam’s Town, and The Cannery.
